This month’s Team Member Spotlight is Sean, who has been part of the Club Broadbeach team on and off the greens for around 15 years. From keeping things running as one of our Duty Managers to leading the charge on the bowls green, he’s all about the fast-paced, fun spirit that makes our club what it is.

I’m one of the Duty Manager here at Club Broadbeach.
How long have you been part of the Club Broadbeach team?
I’ve been working here for approx. 15 years.
What’s your favourite part of working here?
It’s a fast paced and fun environment.
Food & Favourites
If you could only eat one meal from the club menu forever, what would it be?
I do love a steak with the mushroom sauce.
Sweet or savoury — which one wins every time?
Sweet – Choccy mud cake for the win!

Favourite movie of all time?
Anything with Mark Wahlberg in it.
What’s one movie everyone should watch at least once?
Everyone should watch Gridiron Gang. Great movie.

How long have you been playing bowls?
I’ve been playing bowls for 20 years.
What do you enjoy most about bowls at the club?
Love the team atmosphere and spirit we have. I have been lucky to be a part of some great Broady teams over the years. Love the direction we are heading. Great things to come.
