Les has been keeping our greens in top condition since 2008 and brings decades of experience and passion to his role. Greenkeeper Life
How did you get into greenkeeping?
I started in 1981 volunteering to help my uncle at Tweed Heads Bowls club and then became an apprentice in 1982 and worked there until 2008. I then joined Club Broadbeach and have been here ever since.
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without as a greenkeeper?
My awesome team.
What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Delivering the highest quality bowls greens.
What’s the biggest challenge in keeping the greens consistent year-round?
Delivering the highest quality bowls greens.
