What’s your role at the club?
I’m the Head Chef at Club Broadbeach
What inspired you to become a chef?
Eating out as a kid always felt special, and the food was incredible. That experience stuck with me and inspired me to create food at that same level at home. Eventually I turned it into a career.
How long have you been part of the Club Broadbeach team?
Relatively new – this is my 3rd month at the bowlo and it’s been great so far.
What’s your favourite part of working here?
I really enjoy cooking for such a diverse clientele. It keeps things interesting and gives me the chance to create dishes that appeal to a wide range of tastes.
In three words, how would you describe Club Broadbeach?
Welcoming & community driven.
Food & Favourites
If you could only eat one meal from the club menu forever, what would it be?
The steak, done properly. Simple, consistent, and hard to beat when it’s cooked right every time.
Sweet or savoury — which one wins every time?
Savoury, no question. That’s where the depth of flavour is.
Go to coffee order and go to cocktail order?
Coffee – Iced long black with a dash of milk. Cocktail – Old fashioned
Movie Buff
Favourite movie of all time?
No country for old men.
What’s your favourite music to listen to on shift?
Early 2010s house/electro house.
Off the Clock
Favourite way to spend a day off on the Gold Coast?
Keeping it simple. Either a game of ping pong or pool, or just a swim to switch off after a busy week.

Beach. Easy choice.
